46" x 46". Each tile is 6" x 6". 1989. A low-voltage system with laser-cut industrial ceramics and fiber optics. This work is designed for decades or more of constant operation. Although it is not visible in this slide, when the pushbutton is pressed, the cast glass inset in the laser-cut ceramic material is illuminated. The light is brought to this location through fiber optics.
