Memaloose

Depicts the Lyle, Washington, Salmon Receiving Station, (formerly just upriver from Memaloose Island). This Station was demolished and replaced by a real estate office in 1998. This work also includes text regarding Memaloose Island from the Rueben G. Thwaites edition of The Original Journals of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Also, images of Jeffery Sohappy selling salmon legally in 1999, young Wilson La Mere III holding a salmon, the defunct, highly radioactive Trojan power plant nuclear reactor core on it's way to Hanford, and a portion of the July 19th, 1992, Portland Oregonian article about problems at Hanford by Paul Koberstein.
